Intraday Updates
The rate of decline in the S&P/Case-Shiller home price index slowed abruptly in April.
The final round of regional factory surveys for June continued to show improvement.
The run-off rate in the Fed's TAF program slowed sharply once quarter-end concerns were out of the way.
The Conference Board's consumer confidence survey turned out to be one of the weaker sentiment reports in June. more »

Federal Reserve Operations & the Overnight Market
Fed Open Market Operations There will be plenty of Fed-related activity for the market to digest today. The major item of interest will be the FDIC's special quarter-end assessment, or more specifically, its effect on money-market conditions over the course of the day. In addition, the Fed will release the results of yesterday's TAF auction at 10:00, conduct a Treasury pass shortly after at 10:30, then finish off with an agency pass at 1:30 in the afternoon. more »

The Treasury will sell $35 billion of 4-week bills and $27 billion of year-bills at 1:00 this afternoon. We had thought these would be the final bill auctions of the week, but the Treasury surprised us by adding a $30 billion 11-month CM bill to tomorrow’s schedule as well. more »
