Treasury Finance

The Treasury will sell $20 billion of 278-day bills at 11:30 this morning and $28 billion of 3-year notes at 1:00.  Also, it will release its monthly budget statement for November at 2:00.  The monthly statement is likely to show another huge monthly deficit, and will also give us an update on the pace of Treasury purchases of mortgage-backed securities. more »
